Hanneke Elemans, RN

Born and raised in the Netherlands to parents who were avid gardeners, I developed a love for plants early in my life.  In the early '70s, I moved to the U.S. and started Nursing School, and I have been a pediatric nurse ever since.

In 2000, I also became a massage therapist and discovered that with my knowledge of the human body and my own two hands, I could help people feel better naturally.  During this time, my husband and I built our dream house, and we became avid gardeners growing flowers and herbs on our 2 acre property.  This is when I became interested in Herbalism, and I started studying the gifts of the earth, that can be so powerful in keeping us healthy naturally.

I am the mother of 3 wonderful grown children who have blessed me with 10, yes 10 beautiful grandchildren!!  It is my amazing family that drives me to learn more about natural healing.

In the summer of 2015, I met a woman who introduced me to certified pure essential oils. All of a sudden, my puzzle of life seemed to be complete!  Now I know what I want to be when I grow up! ;-)  The essential oils and the herbs go together so well and my goal is to be a Natural Wellnesss Advocate and help my family and friends stay healthy naturally without drugs, chemicals, and other toxins.

Michelena Pfluger

Michelena has always had a more natural approach to life. Growing up, she had several influential people in her life who would make their own cleaning supplies, read labels, and try to go through this world with leaving a small footprint. She's been an avid gardener for years, growing her own food and herbs to use for cooking and teas. She became interested in natural solutions for health when she saw that she and her family were steadily increasing the number of medicines they were taking while their health was consistently getting worse. Through healthy lifestyle choices, they can proudly say they are off all medicines and thriving!

Michelena currently works in her day job as a software quality assurance expert. She's also very active in her local church with teaching and local outreach. Part of what drew her to become a Wellness Advocate for the essential oil company she uses is its ethical sourcing model. Her true passion is for business missions, which is using business to fund mission work or as part of a plan for bringing hope and opportunity to impoverished regions. She is a recent graduate of University of Valley Forge in business missions, and will be returning soon as a full time MDiv/MBA student to Eastern University.

Michelena lives in Phoenixville, PA with her husband and two of their three children (one getting ready to graduate high school, one getting ready to graduate college, and the third on her own and starting a PhD program). In her spare time she is usually cooking, kayaking, bike riding, practicing karate, reading, taking a walk with her dog in the woods or to downtown Phoenixville, or helping to fix up their old home.

Jim & Christine Paster

Jim and Christine have been married since 1994. They have 3 kids, all girls, one of which is on her own while the other two are still at home and in college. They also have a fur kid (dog) named Caesar, who was an addition to the family in December of 2014. Christine originally pursued the use of essential oils because of her desire to go all natural with her health management. Jim quickly got on board after putting the oils to a challenge regarding some of his health issues. Needless to say, the oils improved his condition.

Both Jim and Christine have a real desire to see people with real issues get the help they need in an all-natural formula. They are quickly learning of the benefits of essential oils. Jim is devoting his time to learning about the science of how the oils perform and how to make essential oil blends properly. Both Jim and Christine have been sharing the benefits of using essential oils with others. Two of their daughters are already reaping the benefits of essential oils, as well as several people from their place of employment. Even Caesar has experienced the benefits of essential oils! Jim & Christine both love sharing their experiences and are both eager to answer any questions regarding essential oils, and as a husband and wife team, they represent a powerful dynamic duo for our Balanced Essential Living team.

Fun facts about Jim and Christine.

1. Christine really doesn't like to cook, but thank God Jim does! However, Christine loves to bake for which Jim is very thankful!

2. Jim and Christine work together at the same company and are usually always hanging together. They are truly attached at the hip!

3. Some of their favorite things to do are hanging together as a family when possible, being involved in church, and hosting get togethers at their home.

Jessica Wagnia

Jessica is from Montgomery Country, PA. She is married to her best friend and is the mother of three energetic boys and a little princess.

Jessica wears many hats besides wife and mommy: she is a wellness advocate, an essential oil educator, and is certified in a therapeutic massage that is a clinical approach to essential oil application. Jessica is a certified prayer counselor with Elijah House Ministries and is a board member and the Secretary of Redwood Ministry in Pottstown.

Jessica’s passion has always been to see people set free from anything that holds them back from living out and fulfilling their destiny. Her favorite word is the Greek word, ‘sōzō’, which means to save, to make well, heal, restore to health (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health). Essential Oils are just another way in which she can help others experience sōzō!

Jessica spent over a decade in the pharmaceutical industry before making the switch to CEO of her home. She worked closely with physicians, laboratories, government agencies and ethics boards, both nationally and internationally. Jessica learned a lot during her time in the pharmaceutical industry. She learned that all drugs, both prescription and over the counter, have substantial side effects and should never be the first choice when seeking wellness and healing. This knowledge is what propelled her into the holistic world of health, lifestyle, and wellness.

Fun Facts about Jessica:

  1. Jessica’s second home is Nambacha, a tiny village in Western Kenya. She and her family spend as much time there as possible.

  2. Rafiki Children’s Center, located just outside of Nairobi, Kenya, is her heart’s happy place. She and her family have spent a lot of time volunteering there over the past 6 years.

  3. Jessica enjoys reading, cooking and eating a variety of international, exotic and spicy foods. Her favorite thing to do is create. She uses a variety of mediums such as painting, mixed media art, knitting and repurposing and refurbishing furniture…turning trash into treasure!
